KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER for a Harare-based company in the ICT industry

Duties and responsibilities 

  1. a) Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
  2. b) Acquires a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
  3. c) Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  4. d) Generates new sales that will turn into lasting profitable relationships.
  5. e) Onboard existing and new clients onto service-level agreements.
  6. g) Respondsto and resolve any issues and challenges faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  7. h) Prepares regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  8. i) Writes business plans for all current and opportunity tender businesses.
  9. j) Researches competitors’ products and services and comes up with recommendations.

Qualifications

  1. Degree in Sales, Marketing or ICT
  2. 3 Years of sales experience in dealing with Financial services
  3. Knowledge of Pipeline development
  4. Team Player
  5. Effective communicator
  6. Knowledge of strategy formulation and development
  7. Clean Class 4 driver’s license
