JUNIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN IN CHEMISTRY (1 post)
Key duties and responsibilities
- Perform Chemical tests on raw materials.
- Analyse intermediates, bulk and finished products.
- Analyse retention samples and products on stability.
- Prepare, store and monitor Laboratory reagents.
- Prepare and standardise volumetric solutions.
- Certify secondary standards and working standards.
- Perform method validation, cleaning validation and process validation.
- stocktake of materials and reagents.
- ensure GLP and GMP requirements are adhered to.
- Participate in internal audits and external audits by regulatory authorities.
- Participate in meetings.
- Generating and filing of analytical reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Five Ordinary level passes in one sitting
- Diploma in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry.
- BSC Degree in Chemical Technology, Applied Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or
equivalent less than 18 months old an added advantage. - Knowledge on operation of HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, Karl Fischer, AAS an added
advantage - Did Attachment in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Quality Control Laboratory an added
advantage.
