Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Chef to join our team. The Junior Chef will work closely with our Head Chef and culinary team to assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes and meals. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and guidelines
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes and menus
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications And Skills
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen
- Culinary certificate
- Strong passion for food and cooking
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow recipes and guidelines accurately
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
