VACANCY – IT AUDITOR
An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading Zimbabwean-based holding company, for an appropriately qualified individual to join the Risk and Loss Team as an IT Auditor. The successful IT Auditor will work closely with the Risk and Loss Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Work closely with the IT department, audit department and senior management to assess potential risks within the IT systems;
Undertake audits within set deadlines, coordinating with company employees to get feedback on IT
systems, and compile reports or other relevant audit documents;
Regularly review information and data systems to identify high risks and ensure that measures are put in
place to manage IT related risks within the businesses;
Conduct IT risk assessment by understanding business objectives, internal controls, enabling technology.
and IT infrastructure;
Audit various technologies, designs and internal controls utilized by Group companies to determine their effectiveness;
Evaluate controls designed to prevent or detect fraud, including processes to override controls;
Provide accurate, timely and relevant statutory reporting and management information;
Communicate audit results and recommendations both orally and in writing to the management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have:
Degree in Information Systems/ Information Technology or equivalent:
2+ years of experience in a similar role;
Skilled in various software packages (SAGE, PASTEL, Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
Experience of working in the manufacturing industry.
Candidates with the following characteristics are highly preferred:
CISA or other relevant certification;
Knowledge of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure;
Experience with ACL, Power Bl, or other data analytics software preferred;
2+ years previous FMCG industry or audit experience;
Assertive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure; Ability to act with high levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality;
Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
