Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for an Irrigation Installation Manager located in Harare, with some flexibility for remote on site work. The Irrigation Installation Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising the installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems, while ensuring that company policies, procedures and safety standards are followed. The successful candidate will also provide technical advice to customers and handle customer complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- A background in Agriculture, Irrigation, Trade or a similar field
- Experience in irrigation installation, project management, and maintenance
- Experience in plumbing, electrical installation, and technical design
- Ability to lead a team of irrigation technicians/installers, as well as to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical language with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to offer excellent customer service by interpreting, communicating, and explaining irrigation designs and practices to clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
