About Us
Matchado Consulting (Matchado) is a management consulting company specialising in business
development, infrastructure development and project management. Matchado provides advisory
services to various clients within the East and Southern Africa region.
Job Functions
Matchado seeks to engage an intern that will work under a lead Consultant to provide the following
services:
1. Business development (writing expressions of interest and proposals);
2. Developing marketing strategies, processes and templates for clients;
3. Providing management consulting services in transport and energy planning, project
management and coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and environmental and social
impact assessment; and
4. Other tasks related to the aforementioned services.
Key Job Requirements
▪ The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree and should be a recent graduate, or
should have completed studies awaiting graduation.
▪ All degree holders are acceptable however preference will be given to those that studied the
following:
o Procurement
o Transport planning / engineering
o Economics / finance / accounting
o Communications or business marketing
In addition, the candidate MUST:
▪ Be able to use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
▪ Own a (decent working) laptop;
▪ Be able to work flexible hours;
▪ Be resident in Harare, Zimbabwe;
▪ Be interested in infrastructure development; and
▪ Enjoy reading and writing large documents!
Benefits
▪ Starting monthly salary of USD250
▪ Commissions (subject to terms and conditions)
▪ On the job training in infrastructure development consultancy
▪ Internet will be provided (through bundles)
▪ Majority of the work will be carried out from home
The initial contract will be for a period of 3 months and extendable to 12 months before a
permanent position is offered.
