DUTIES
Carrying out Installation, maintenance and repairs on instrumentation and control or equipment.
Carrying out preventative maintenance work.
Calibrating and programming of instruments equipment
Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis exercise
Compliance to Safety and Health regulations and procedures
In addition to the above the incumbent will report directly to the Instruments foreperson and supervise assistants and trainees.
REQUIREMENTS
Apprenticeship trained with minimum 3 years post apprenticeship in a heavy or manufacturing Industry
At least qualified with a National Diploma in Instrumentation and Control or equivalent.
Available and willing to start immediately
Attribute
Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
Mature disposition.
Flexible and able to work under pressure
Ability to work in a shift and standby cycle
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
