DUTIES
Coordinate and schedule IT support through tickets, documenting all troubleshooting steps in the Connect Wise Management System.
Utilize MSP Tools (ConnectWise Management, Automate, ConnectWise Control and Splash Top), maintaining hardware, software and other systems.
Handle data backup activities.
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues including license problems, file corruption, and component malfunction.
Responsible for Assisting users.
Review incoming tickets and determine priorities by figuring out which ones need the most help.
Respond to tickets by providing step by step guides or ask for additional information.
Cybersecurity.
Handle Computer security breaches by following standardized procedures.
Monitor the security of all technological members on a network
REQUIREMENTS
BSc/BA in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Familiar with Microsoft Windows Office Suite.
Proven experience in a system support or similar role.
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
Hands-on working experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other languages.
Understanding of various VPN technologies, a must.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
