The position of ICT Officer has arisen within the National Biotechnology Authority, and we hereby invite applications from suitably qualified individuals.
DUTIES
- Upload and install various software applications on user machines and servers.
- System administration (add products and users into e-permit system database)
- Database Administration.
- Assist stakeholders to access and use online permit system.
- Design and maintain systems e.g. Bio-master. Bio-link.
- Design and maintain science expert database.
- Design, upload and maintain information on NBA’s website using different programming languages eg Java,C++.
- Procurement of the I.T software.
- Design of information systems.
TO APPLY
- Information Communication and Technology or Information Systems, or Computer Science Degree from a reputable institution.
- A certificate in Computer Hardware and Networking is an added advantage
- At least 2 years’ working experience in a similar position.
