The Role
ICS Administrator
Long-term cover for sickness for a period of 1 year (with possibility
on renewal)/Full-Time

Global Head of IT & Communication Systems (ICS)

Job Overview
CBM Global is seeking a skilled ICS Administrator to oversee, maintain, and optimize
our global IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, integrity, and
efficient operation of our IT office networks, endpoints and cloud services, which
support our mission across 13 offices, primarily in Asia and Africa. Additionally, this
role will coordinate the efforts of international and local IT service providers in each
country where we operate.

The role will be a member in an international team to achieve these goals.
Based: We welcome applications from those who live and have the right to work in
Burkina Faso, Kenya, Nigeria, Madagascar, Philippines, Nepal, Bangladesh,
Indonesia, Lao PDR, Zimbabwe, UK, Ireland, Germany, and Netherlands. Remote
working from any of above listed countries is possible.
Hours: Long-term sickness cover for a period of 1 year. Full-time
Salary range: The salary offered will be competitive, dependent on skills and
experience, as well as country of location. We offer a local contract

Responsibilities and Duties
• Oversee the global IT infrastructure for CBM Global’s 185
employees, ensuring high availability and reliability across all
13 offices (each <20 staff members) in 12 countries.
• Oversee and coordinate the efforts of international and local IT
service providers in each country.
• Coordination of hardware procurement for our offices and remote
staff.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Entra, SharePoint Online and
Exchange Online including user management and security.
• Manage and configure devices (Windows + Android) and applications using
Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across
various small office locations, ensuring optimal performance and
security. This includes managing FortiGate Firewalls and Ubiquiti
Access Points.
• Provide global 2nd Level support for our cloud and network
infrastructure.
• Provide local 1st Level support for the office (<20 staff) in your
country and to staff working from home.
• Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure,
configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain disaster recovery plans and backup procedures to ensure
business continuity.

• Provide a stable, reliable, available and cost-effective IT infrastructure
that meets organizational requirements.
• Timely and well-managed system changes and upgrades.
• Effective coordination of IT service providers.
• Provide regular reports on system performance and incidents.
• Implement and maintain robust security practices to protect
organizational data and resources.

Key upcoming projects:
• Android Device and Application Management (MDM / MAM): Onboarding of
our internationally distributed cell phones in Microsoft Endpoint Manager as
well as definition and enforcement of suitable guidelines.
• Network Monitoring: Setting up central monitoring for our Fortigate firewalls
Ubiquiti access points including reporting.
• User self-service application install: Setup and rollout of Intune Company
Portal.
• Wi-Fi network authentication: Setup EAP-based authentication for our
offices.

Person Specification
All of the following requirements are essential, unless marked with a * when
they are desirable.

Experience, Personal Qualities, and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a
related field, or a 3-year vocational training program with an aboveaverage degree. *
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure
administration, ideally with a focus on Microsoft Azure, Entra,
SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Office 365, and Windows
environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in remote setup and management of
office networks and devices.
• Excellent verbal and written language skills in English
• Proficiency in Spanish, French, or German. *
• Good communication skills and ability to work with end users and
external service providers while displaying a high level of
professionalism.
• The ability to work collaboratively and independently with little
oversight.

• CompTIA Network+
