About
Zimbabwe Health Interventions (ZHI) is a not-for-profit human development organisation which is registered as a Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO 17/22). ZHI’s mission is to develop and deliver innovative and sustainable high-impact, integrated health interventions to the communities we serve, while working with and strengthening existing institutions.
Basic Function
The intern will go through a structured one year program to have an appreciation of all the key Human Resources functions.
Job Description
Under the mentorship of the HR Assistant, the intern will go through a comprehensive structured program to appreciate various Human Resources functions which include but not limited to Recruitment and Selection, Human Resources Information Systems, Industrial Relations, Staff Welfare, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Training and Development.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Willingness to learn; Ability to plan and prioritize own work under tight deadlines as well as to work on own initiative and as a member of a team; Ability to maintain confidentiality for sensitive Human Resources issues or projects and use judgment to execute duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications And Experience
A holder of a BSc/BA degree in Human Resources/ Psychology or equivalent; At least a year of work-related learning experience; Should have completed studies within the past two years
