Job description:
A private junior school in the education sector is looking to hire a School Headmaster responsible for heading a private primary school .
Responsibilities:
- The management of curriculum matters, through the Director of Studies, Heads of Department and Examination Officer
The care and discipline of the pupils, working through the Deputy Heads, Senior Teachers, and tutors - Setting and driving the strategic plans of the school to achieve its vision, mission and values
- Promoting and ensuring a team spirit among all. Stakeholders of the school: parents, pupils, teachers and other staff members
- Overseeing and coordinating all functions and activities of the school
- Vigorously marketing and promoting the good public image of the school
- Responsibility for the quality of teaching and learning in the School
- Giving a lead on academic, pastoral, spiritual, moral, and extra-curricular or any matter of relevance to educatio
Qualifications:
- A degree in Education or equivalent
- Master’s degree in the area of educational administration and management is an added advantage
- Relevant recent leadership and management professional courses are also an added advantage
- Must have at least 6 years proven experience of excellent school leadership either as Head or
- Deputy Head in a private school
- Computer literate
