About Us:
Action for Youth Foundation Trust is a registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for Youths Living with HIV, Orphans & Vulnerable Children and Youths in Key Population Communities in Zimbabwe.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Research & Technical Services to provide technical leadership and oversight to our research and technical services activities on a volunteer basis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical guidance and support on research and technical services
– Develop and implement research and technical services strategies and plans
– Oversee research studies, data analysis, and reporting
– Provide technical assistance to program staff on research and technical services
– Collaborate with stakeholders, including partners, donors, and government agencies
– Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards
Qualifications and Experience:
– Post-grads degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related field
– At least 5 years of experience in research and technical services
– Experience working with NGOs or non-profit organizations is an added advantage
– Strong knowledge of research and technical services principles and practices
– Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
