Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and driven Head of Healthcare with an impressive background in business development and/or sales within the pharmaceutical sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead our healthcare initiatives, drive business growth, and shape our presence within the industry. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, a strong network, and a proven track record of generating impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth across key healthcare markets.
- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with industry stakeholders, and lead market entry efforts.
- Sales Leadership: Oversee and support sales teams to achieve revenue targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners.
- Product and Service Growth: Collaborate with product development teams to align offerings with market demand and regulatory compliance.
- Team Development: Mentor and lead a team of sales and business development professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree will be an added advantage.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry with progressive leadership experience.
- Proven track record of successful market expansion and achieving revenue growth targets.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
