We seek a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Commercial. In this role, you will be responsible for selling mobile, internet, digital, and managed services. You will also be required to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies, drive revenue generation, and establish a sales and marketing function within the organization. Additionally, you should have at least ten years of experience in a senior role in sales and marketing.
Responsibilities
1. Selling Mobile and Internet Services: responsible for selling mobile and Internet services, primarily targeting corporate clients. This will involve understanding the needs of potential clients, presenting suitable mobile and internet service solutions, and negotiating contracts for service implementation.
2. Selling Digital Services: responsible for selling digital services, such as managed services that include backups, VLANs, and internet connectivity. This will require a strong understanding of digital services and their benefits and the ability to effectively communicate these benefits to potential clients.
3. Direct Sales and Business Development: As the Head of Commercial, will be responsible for direct sales and business development activities. This will involve identifying potential clients, conducting market research and analysis, generating leads, and building solid relationships with clients to drive sales growth.
4. Enterprise Selling: The role will require expertise in enterprise selling, including engaging with key decision-makers at large organizations and tailoring sales presentations and proposals to meet their specific needs. You will be expected to demonstrate a deep understanding of the corporate landscape and stay updated on industry trends.
5. Sales and Marketing Function Setup: One key responsibility will be establishing a sales and marketing function within the organization. This will involve developing sales and marketing strategies, creating sales goals and targets, and overseeing the implementation of these strategies to ensure successful revenue generation.
6. Revenue Generation: As the Head of Commercial, the organization’s primary focus will be revenue generation. You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding sales quotas, analyzing sales data, identifying new revenue opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
7. Marketing Collateral: You will be expected to guide the development of marketing collateral, such as presentations, brochures, and sales materials, to support the sales process. This will involve working closely with the marketing team to ensure that the collateral effectively communicates the services’ value proposition.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior roles in sales and marketing.
- Solid understanding of mobile, internet, digital, and managed services.
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, focusing on enterprise selling.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with key decision-makers.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to set goals, motivate teams, and drive results.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and make informed business decisions.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
