An exciting career opportunity has arisen within First Capital Bank for the role of Head-Digital & Products Development. We are looking for an experienced senior management individual, who appreciates and is passionate about accessibility, convenience and value propositions.
Key responsibilities
- To develop, implement and manage digital strategy for the Bank that aligns with the corporate strategy.
- Identify emerging trends for the bank of the future and ensure change in customer behaviour is fulfilled.
- Identify new opportunities, products and channels in the Bank and seek to enhance current offerings.
- Analyse customer data and feedback to continuously improve product offerings and enhance overall customer experience.
- Comply with certification and security standards across all products and channels.
- Monitor KPIs to track success of digital initiatives and make data driven decisions to optimise performance.
- Meet revenue and profitability targets for digital financial services products.
- Performs regular product reviews to ensure relevance and profitability, making recommendations to enhance or terminate loss making products.
- Work closely with Marketing and business to identify key target segments and come up with strategies to acquire new business.
- Develop strategic alliances for accelerated growth and improved service.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders for potential alliances.
- Lead integration initiatives with other providers, merchants and mobile network operators.
- Effective management of performance of the team.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum qualifications
- Degree in IT, Banking, Finance, Business or related field.
- Relevant MBA and /or professional qualification.
Experience and Competency required:
- Proven track record of leadership in driving successful digital strategy and transformation initiatives within the financial services industry.[4-6 years experience]
- Must have experience in operating a business segment for profitability.
- Deep understanding of digital trends and customer behaviour.
- Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret data for strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to financial services and data privacy.
