HANDYMAN/ELECTRICIAN/PLUMBER: UZ VN HOTEL AND LEISURE PVT LTD (1 POST)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:
Install electrical systems and components, such as distribution boxes, wiring, and
circuit breakers
Repair and maintaining electrical systems, plumbing systems and equipment
including motors, stoves, gysers, wiring, water tapes drainage etc
Test and inspect electrical systems for compliance with safety regulations
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system malfunctions
Install and maintain lighting systems, security systems, and other electrical
systems
Adhere to safety regulations, procedures and best practices during the execution
of duties
Report broken or malfunctioning equipment and any unusual circumstances to
the Maintenance Supervisor
Responsible for safe keeping of maintenance tools
Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance and other related areas
Learn the fire and safety procedures and how to operate the firefighting
equipment
Develop a strong knowledge about the hotel surroundings, its water and
electrical systems
Carry out any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate in relevant field (Electrical and Plumbing) or equivalent
5 “O” Levels including English and Mathematics.
Completed electrician /Plumbing apprenticeship / Journeyman
Electrician/Plumber will be an added advantage
At least 2 years working experience in a similar position.
