Graduate Trainee, Gender and Diversity Centre
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position that has arisen at the Women’s University in Africa: Graduate Trainee, Gender and Diversity Centre
Responsibilities and Tasks
Contribute to the planning and implementation of department activities; Conduct mobilization for department activities as and when assigned by the
supervisor;
Assist with Gender programming including community engagement on gender related issues;
Offer support in managing relations with internal and external stakeholders:
Perform administrative tasks;
Assist in generating reports;
Support research activities when they arise;
Perform any other duties as shall be assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
An undergraduate degree in Gender Studies or Women’s Studies;
Must have graduated within the last two (2) years as at date of this job advertisement;
Good Information Technology (IT) skills;
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team
members and stakeholders;
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as
well as the commitment to equal opportunities;
Previous internship experience;
Good report writing skills; and
Relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
