GIK & Stores Graduate Intern, World Vision Zimbabwe
World Vision Zimbabwe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Intern. to support our Gifts-in-Kind (GIK and Stores operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in inventory, logistics, and warehouse management in a dynamic humanitarian environment
Location: Suburbs Office, Bulawayo
Duration: 2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and document all incoming stores shipments.
  • Liaise with stakeholders (eg. ZIMRA) for clearing and compliance.
  • Support warehouse operations: receiving, dispatching, stacking, and stock taking
  • Maintain inventory records, bin cards, and stack cards,
  • Generate and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual stores reports
  • Support training and reporting for district-level staff,
  • Tag and track assets in coordination with the Admin and Finance teams.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate (within the last 12 months) with a minimum 2.1 degree in Supply
  • Chain, Logistics, Business studies, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of stores, warehousing and freight forwarding.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and inventory systems.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently,
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Required: A teachable attitude
  • Valuable experience in humanitarian supply chain operations.
