Job Summary:
We are a mining company mainly focusing on exploration, loading and hauling. We are seeking an experienced Geological Engineer to join our team who will be located in Hwange.We’re looking for a highly skilled Geological Engineer who can lead our geological modelling, resource estimation, and exploration efforts. The candidate must be flexible and able to relocate to various sites when need arises.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain 3D geological models using 3D mine andAutoCAD.
2. Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and logging.
3. Carrying out mineral resources and mineral reserves estimation using computerized geostatistical methods.
4. Grade and ground control for open pit operations, planning short-term and long-term production and development programs.
5. Implement processes, policies, systems and practices that contribute to effective geology operations.
6. Coordinate geological research programs for the mine.
7. Design and implement exploration programs.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
9. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in geological engineering, exploration, or mining.
3. Strong knowledge of 3D mine Software andAutoCAD (a must),
4. Strong background in Lithium (Spodumene).
5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Ability to speak Chinese is an added advantage
