A rare opportunity has arisen at one of Southern Africa’s most iconic and prestigious hotels.
The Victoria Falls Hotel partnership is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated General Manager based in the resort town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
DUTIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the hotel, optimising the hotel’s operations, improving and maintaining service and brand standards, achieving short and long term goals and ensuring business growth and improved profitability in a highly competitive market.
Requirements and Experience:-
3 – 5 years General Manager experience in luxury 5-star hotels
Previous regional and international experience is preferred
Recognized, professional qualification in hospitality management or similar field
Excellent written and communication skills
Strong background in Front Office, Guest Relations and/or Food & Beverage
Must have a customer centric mindset and the ability to deliver exceptional guest service, experience and F&B offerings
Strong leadership, organizational and problem solving skills
Must be enthusiastic, energetic, adaptable and proactive.
