Cimas is searching for a hardworking and reliable General Hand to join the organization and provide unique, comprehensive, and quality health care to our clients through ensuring the general cleanliness and maintenance of Clinic premises.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Maintaining general cleanliness of Clinic premises i.e., floors, windows, walls, storage rooms and ceiling.
• Observing proper waste disposal as per infection control policy.
• Disinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies using germicides and sterilizing equipment.
• Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Notifying the Nurse In Charge on occurring deficiencies or need for repairs.
• Preparing comprehensive cleaning and maintenance plans for the Clinic.
• Participating on the movement of heavy equipment and supplies as and when necessary.
• Ensuring that adequate records of equipment and tools are maintained at all times.
Key Competences
The ideal candidate should possess the ability to plan, organize and execute their work to achieve set goals and objectives. Effective communication and time management skills are essential, as the role involves collaborating with a team of diverse. professionals.
Qualifications
5 Ordinary Level passes.
Certificate in housekeeping.
Certificate in first aid training.
