(Secure, Hope, Empowered) Programme is dedicated to empowering girls living in marginalised rural communities across Africa. By providing them with educational opportunities and removing barriers, we aim to unlock their full potential and help them become the best version of themselves.
We are seeking a mature and organised Fundraising Officer to join our Team in Harare, Zimbabwe, 🇿🇼 who is passionate about driving this mission forward.
Job Responsibilities:
* The ideal candidate should develop and execute fundraising strategies that engage potential donors and secure funding for the organisation’s programs and initiatives;
* Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and other funding organisations;
* Should be able to expand the organisation’s network of supporters from local into international communities;
* Create compelling fundraising campaigns and initiatives that effectively communicate the impact of our S.H.E. Programme and inspire donors to contribute;
* Build relationships with prospective donors;
* Research and pursue grant opportunities, preparing grant proposals and applications to secure funding from foundations and government agencies;
* Monitor and analyse fundraising metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns; and
* Build and manage internal and external networks to assist in the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of donors and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Non-Profit Management or any related field;
* A minimum of 2 years of relevant fundraising/sales experience;
* Strong skills in both written and verbal communication.
