FISHERIES INTERN (B1)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the above vacant post that has arisen at the Zimbabwe Institute of Wildlife Conservation. The incumbent will report to the Vice Principal
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in running the college fisheries project
- Assisting students with their fisheries practicals
- Attending to data collections and participating in Fisheries Research projects
- Predator control in fish ponds
- Feeding fish and cleaning fish ponds
- Making requests for resources needed in fish farming
- Maintaining and updating fish farming Records
- Assisting in conducting Fisheries tutorials to National Certificate students
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- BSc Honours Degree in Protected Area Management/Fisheries or equivalent.
- 5 O levels passes including English, Maths and Science
- Good Communication skills
