Fish Production Manager
Person Specification
Applicants must have both the intellectual and professional adaptability and flexibility to be able to manage and must be skilled in Fish Breeding, Fish Vaccinator, Fish Filletor, Scuba Diving, Chemical Handling, Fish Handling and Transportation, Horticulture and Poultry breeding.
Duties
The Duties shall include: –
Monitor and control water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and other parameters Maintain optimal water quality for fish growth and health.
Source and acquire healthy fish fry or fingerlings.
Stock ponds or tanks with appropriate fish densities.
Monitor fish growth, health, and behavior.
Provide balanced diets and feeding schedules.
Monitor feed consumption and adjust feeding strategies.
Reports to the Dean of school of Wildlife and Environmental Science
