The Role
Finance Intern
Fixed term contract for 12 months/Full-Time
Reports to:
The Finance Intern will report to the CBM Global Zimbabwe Finance Officer

Job Overview
Assist senior Finance staff members in the implementation of policies and practices
for financial management, budget control, accounting and administration.
Based: We welcome applications from those who live and have the right to work in
Zimbabwe
Hours: Full-time, fixed-term contract for 12 months
Salary range: The salary offered will be competitive, dependent on skills and
experience, as well as country of location. We offer a local contract.

Responsibilities and Duties

General Administration
• Coordinate activities for the weekly Country Team Meeting
• Assist in arranging conferences meetings, and special events and participate in quarterly project planning and review sessions
• Ensure work environment and amenities are in good working condition Logistics
• Maintain fuel consumption tracker and vehicle maintenance tracker
• Assist with all travel and logistics for the Implementation teams and other Country Team site visits
• Provide logistical and other support for internal and external events, visits, contacts, and services

Procurement
• Participate in the procurement processes which includes preparation of Request for Procurement (RFPs) documents, receipt of quotations, preparation of low value acquisition purchase orders.
• Review and update CBM Global Disability Inclusion’s Suppliers List (Vendors) annually.
• Request and review proforma invoices from Suppliers before approvals
and processing
• Follow up with suppliers to get outstanding tax invoices, tax clearance certificates and receipts.
• Filing the procurement and logistics records
• Prepare GRVs and submit the packages to finance as per the Procurement SOP

Office Stock & Asset Management
• Collection of information on assets management, maintenance of records, and files on assets management
• Receive and record in the stocks register all office supplies within 24 hours of receipt
• Replenish stocks of essential items as per re-order level
• Produce monthly stock reports timeously
• Perform monthly and spot stock takes for supplies that are kept in the storeroom under the custody of the Cleaner

• Self-development and initiative-taking.

• Computer literacy and proficiency with Excel

• Strong written communication, interpersonal and coordination skills, with proven ability to be flexible and team-oriented

Qualifications
• Must have a degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration
• Experience in Non-Profit Organizations will be an added advantage.
