A local faith based Non-Governmental Organization involved in development, advocacy and
humanitarian work seeks to fill the Finance and Adminstration Attaché.
Position Title: Finance and Administration Student Attaché
Purpose of the Position
The objective of this position is to give the candidate experience in the practical aspects of
finance and accounting practices and procedures within the organisation.
Expected Deliverables:
1. Capturing of transactions daily in the system ensuring that they are accurate and complete;
2. Prepare and process payment requests;
3. Recording of business units’ sales invoices and receipting;
4. Periodic asset verification;
5. Updating asset register and asset codes;
6. Facilitate admin procurement supplies;
7. Ensure completeness of mileage recoveries month on month;
8. Bank and float reconciliations;
9. Intercompany reconciliations;
10. Proper filing of vouchers and organizational documents;
11. Assist in audit processes;
12. Assist in submission of tax returns including QPDS for business units;
Skills and Qualifications:
– Currently enrolled in a finance, accounting, or related degree program.
– Strong analytical and numerical skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
– Excellent attention to detail
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
