Finance and Administration Officer
This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer -located in Harare, Zimbabwe

About Us: Dynamic and forward-thinking organization committed to excellence, innovation, and positive work environment in the Health industry is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Finance and Administration Officer.

Purpose of the Job: Oversee finance, administration, and IT departments, efficiently manage cash flow, safeguard assets, and provide accurate financial information for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Management Accounts:
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts.

2. Preparation of Financial Statements:
Annual financial statements, i.e. comprehensive income, financial position, cashflow, and of reserves.

3. Budgets:
Develop annual budgets, conduct quarterly reviews, track performance, coordinate cash flow forecasting, perform product costing.

4. Asset Management:
Accurate accounting/recording, verify asset register, conduct reviews, maintain records, recommend disposals.

5. Internal and External Audits:
Prepare audit schedules, assist external auditors, implement audit recommendations.

6. Human Capital Management:
Facilitate Recruitment and oversee staff welfare issues

7. Payroll Administration:
Manage employee data, compute salaries, benefits, and deductions, produce payslips, comply with regulations.

8. Statutory Regulations:
Communicate with Statutory bodies and comply with statutes and regulations.

9. Investments:
Evaluate opportunities, recommend investments that will enable organizational growth.

10. Administration:
Negotiate leases/contracts, process utility bills/licenses, handle insurance, prepare meeting agendas/minutes including Board, supervise ICT projects.

Qualification and Experience

  • Degree in Accounting with a relevant professional qualification [CA(Z), ACCA, CIS, CIMA]
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Finance Officer.
  • High command of Excel and accounting packages.
  • Experience with running the Payroll
  • Clean Class 4 driver’s license
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
