FIELD TECHNICIAN FOR HORTICULTURE SECTION (1 POST).
Qualifications And Experience
- BSc Hons Degree in Horticulture/ Crop Production
- Diploma in Agriculture is an added advantage
- At least 2 years of work experience at a Crop/ Horticultural research station or a commercial farm or a tertiary institution.
- Applicants to prove in an interview that they possess the Agronomic practical skills for both open field and greenhouse experiments.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Facilitating field practicals on campus and off campus
- Management of field trials
- Data collection and data analysis
- Procurement and requisition of field equipment and consumables
- Keeping an inventory of equipment and consumables
- Assist in any other business assigned by the department
