ONHARDT TOBACCO IS HIRING FIELD SUPERVISOR
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Train and supervise Field staff and grower and also being able coordinate and direct their activities
Supervise a wide range of agronomy services throughout the tobacco production cycle
Ensures deadlines for all tobacco production activities and field activities are met,
Confers with management to coordinate activities concerning all and any field activities,
Monitoring field staff rosters, hours, performance and resolving field related grievances
Compile and maintain reports and records for any and all field related activities, >>>
Oversees the work of field staff suggests improvements and changes,
Inspect field bikes, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary >> Evaluation and monitoring of growers through out the tobacco production cycle, including ensuring
efficient and accurate inputs and packaging distribution.
Ensure and enforce compliance with government regulations and health and safety
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience: 5 years plus
Education Level: Degree or Diploma
Qualifications: Degree or Diploma In Agriculture specializing in Tobacco Production
Software: Ms Suite
Equipment: Job related knowledge Of Tobacco industry will be ideal
Skills: Good Organizational Skills/Communication Skills
Ability: Loan recovery, Mitigate losses and implement practical loss control strategies
Other Requirements: Proven experience in the administration of small to medium scale
tobacco farming: A valid driver’s license is a must.
