Local Poultry Farm
Experienced farm manager for a poultry farm based in Zvishavane. The job requires good leadership with a strong focus on team culture and safety. The Candidate should be self-motivated and highly proactive.
Duties & Responsibilities will include;
• Lead and motivate a small team
• Maintain the health and well being of livestock
• Follow and implement all company policies and procedures with regard to animal welfare , WHS, environmental and biosecurity
• Ensure production data is maintained
• Attend any meetings and training as required
• Minimum 15 years experience
. direct and coordinate hatcher and incubator activities
Essential Skills:
– previous poultry livestockmanagement experience
– ability to manage a small team (be able to communicate effectively with all team members
– proactive time management skills (be able to priorities duties)
– decent level of computer literacy and above average level of numeracy skills
– current drivers licence
– ability to forward plan
– attention to detail
– safety focused
– decent mechanical skills
