A construction company in Harare is urgently looking for an Estimation Attaché who is ready to start
work immediately
Job description
- Assist the Estimation department in the following areas
- Assist in taking final measurements of each and every site before the job commences
- Assist in the preparing an estimate of materials required for all the jobs in aluminium
and joinery department - Assist in the preparation of BOQs for ceilings, aluminium windows, aluminium doors,
partitions, kitchens, showers cubicles etc. - Making sure that all quotations are attached in the scope of works
- Making sure that all drawings are signed by clients
- Responsible for taking jobs into production with the signatures of all the relevant
heads - Responsible for the interpretation of drawings and designs
- Assist procurement/stores in ordering specific stocks
- Produce a material utilization report of each job
- Assist in planning of production process for jobs in the order book
- Manage WIP i.e. ensure that all timelines and customer satisfactions are met
- Coordination with the stores team in making sure that the BOQ items are available
and issued items tally with the BOQ
Qualifications needed
- Studying towards a Degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Driver’s license is a must
