DUTIES
Install and test Operating Systems and Applications on physical and virtual platforms (Hyper-V and VMware)
Configure user specific customizations on the Operating System and the Applications to prepare the equipment for use at destination station.
Conduct research on computer products in support of PC, Server and Printer procurement and development efforts.
Recommend, schedule and perform PCs, servers and peripheral equipment Preventative maintenance across bank branches and Datacenters
Maintain operational availability for EFT systems at agreed SLA rates and review system capacity.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT Hardware and Software assets.
Implement and review IT Security controls on all internally developed systems.
Set up DR for all supported systems
Document DR plan and invocation procedures
Perform DR tests routinely as per set guidelines and as per central bank requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology
HP FLAPS, HP Blade Systems Administration, Microsoft, Security+, A+ City and or equivalent
ITIL Foundation, Veritas NetBackup or other relevant certifications
3 Years’ experience of Hardware systems support
Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, EFT systems and Computer Hardware architecture and maintenance.
