Position Summary

Perfection is at the heart of what we do, and our people are always looking for the next big idea to cement our status. We are now looking for a Electrician to be based in Zimbabwe Factory.

In this role you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the factory premises. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of the facility.

A day in the life of an Electrician:

  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify any faults or malfunctions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting electrical equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective electrical parts, wiring, or fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Install new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures as per specifications and safety standards.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
  • Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

What will make you successful?

  • 3+ Years proven working experience preferably in a FMCG industry
  • Class 1 Electrical Certification
  • Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and HMI interfaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving electrical issues.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry advancements.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.
