Job Title: Electrician
Summary:
Lumens Energy seeks a skilled and experienced Electrician with expertise in both residential wiring and solar system installations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have exceptional attention to detail, and possess the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Solar Installations: Perform expert installation, configuration, and maintenance of solar power systems (PV panels, inverters, batteries).
Residential Wiring: Conduct safe and efficient electrical wiring for homes and small businesses.
Site Assessments: Evaluate sites to determine suitable solar solutions, taking accurate measurements, and identifying potential challenges.
Materials Management: Create and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) for projects.
Excel Proficiency: Utilize Excel effectively for project calculations, pricing, and data management.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and issues related to solar systems and household wiring.
Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, explaining technical concepts in a simplified manner.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Minimum A-Levels or equivalent.
Certification: Class 3 Electrician Certification or higher.
Experience: 2 years of experience in electrical wiring and preferably solar system installations.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to perform meticulous work with a focus on quality.
Self-Starter: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for clear interactions with clients and the team.
Excel Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for calculations and project documentation.
Desired Skills & Attributes:
Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience in solar borehole installation is a plus.
