Our client in Printing packaging industry is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their dynamic team.
Qualifications.
- HND/ Diploma/ in Electrical Power Engineering or Instrumentation and Control,
- Class 1 Journeyman card.
- Experience with boilers and printing machines.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Installs new electrical equipment, machines, wiring.
- Responsible for Installing, calibrating and testing a wide variety of industrial instrumentation such as, control valves, transmitters.
- Tests electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
- Performs preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and control systems and components.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Perform general electrical maintenance.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electricals.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Examining and servicing high voltage systems like motors and generators.
