Description
The Union Zimbabwe Trust is seeking a Driver to join our team for a USAID 5-year Project.
Responsibilities
- Drives UZT vehicles transporting staff and materials to approved destinations.
- Checking daily, the technical conditions of the assigned vehicle and filing of vehicle log books.
- Keep the vehicles clean and roadworthy. Maintain a routine servicing of assigned vehicles.
- Ensuring the security of passengers in the vehicle, driving carefully, observing speed limits and traffic rules in the country as well as UZT security rules.
- Report to the supervisor for any technical failure or need for maintenance of the vehicle.
- Ensure the presence of indemnity forms, and the roadworthiness of vehicles and notify the supervisor in time for renewal of the documents due to expire.
Qualifications
- Clean class 2 or 4 driver’s licence
- Valid defensive driving certificate
- 5 Ordinary level passes
- 5 Years of proven experience in driving supporting program activities
