Location: Mwenezi District, Zimbabwe
Duration: 1 year (renewable upon satisfactory performance)
Organization Overview:
Score Against Poverty (SCORE) is a community-based organization located in the Mwenezi District of
Zimbabwe. The organization actively works in diverse projects relating to food security, naturebased solutions, biodiversity promotion, water and sanitation, and climate change and clean energy.

Key role and responsibilities:
1. Transportation and Driving:

Safely operate project vehicles to transport staff, materials, and equipment to
project sites and other locations as needed.
Follow all road safety regulations and organizational guidelines while driving.
2. Vehicle Maintenance and Management:
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of project vehicles, conducting regular
checks, and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain vehicle logbooks to track mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance
records.
3. Administrative Support:
Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing documents, data entry,
photocopying, and organizing office supplies.
Help with the preparation of project-related reports, as requested.
4. Logistics Support:
Support the logistics arrangements for project events, workshops, and meetings,
ensuring timely transportation and setup.
Assist in procuring project supplies and equipment as required.
5. Communication:
Facilitate effective communication by providing language translation assistance
during meetings or interactions with local communities, as needed.
6. Health and Safety Compliance:
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and practices, ensuring the safety of
passengers and cargo during transportation.
Qualifications
Minimum of a high School Diploma, Certificate and diploma in any academic area.
Have a valid standard driver’s license
Proven driving experience with minimum of 3 years
Knowledge of vehicle laws and traffic rules and regulations
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and logistic transactions
Familiarity with local routes and roads linking to other parts of the country
Excellent navigation skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong Organizational skills, time management, with ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
