Job description
- Participating in all branch processes including dispensing
- Assisting patients in choice of over-the-counter medication
- Offering patient advice or referring to the pharmacist
- Operating point of sale devices
- Making orders and stocking the shelves
- Maintaining records for all services provided in the pharmacy
- Inventory management and making sure the pharmacy fulfills its legal obligations or as per company policies.
- Tailoring conversations to patients’ needs.
- Seeking opportunities to engage with other healthcare personnel.
- To be able to fulfill the above one needs to be self-motivated, proactive, with excellent interpersonal skills, good team player, ability to prioritise workload and ability to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Must have Mathematics and English at O’Level.
- National Certificate of Dispensary Assistance or equivalent or working towards one.
- Additionally we are looking for candidates with experience in customer-focused environments, strong understanding of confidentiality and ability to handle medications accurately.
