DUTIES
Strategic Planning, budgeting, designing and maintaining urban infrastructure.
Monitoring and supervising the implementation of Council projects.
Giving Council and its Committees technical advice on projects.
Coordinating consultants in outsourced works.
Formulation and implementation of planned maintenance programmes.
Maintenance of plant and equipment, road networking, town planning, and
Water and sewerage reticulation networks Staff management.
REQUIREMENTS
Have a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent from a reputable university.
Post graduate Diploma in Project Management would be an added advantage.
Membership of the Zimbabwe Institution of Engineers (ZIE).
Master of Science in Water Engineering would be an added advantage.
At least five (5) years of post-qualification experience as a civil engineer at senior or middle management level in a local authority or related environment.
Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
