Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above-mentioned position.
DUTIES
The successful candidate will be the head of department whose responsibilities will include, inter-alia;
Providing strategic leadership for the Housing and Community Service department.
Advising Council on policy matters concerning Housing and Social services.
Controlling all assets of the department.
Establish housing policies that are in line with the dictates of modern housing models. Implementing all resolutions under the Housing department.
Supervision of Housing department staff.
Any other functions and duties that may be assigned by the Town Clerk.
REQUIREMENTS
Have a Social Sciences Degree or Local Governance or Administration or Rural and Urban Planning.
Arelevant Masters Degree would be an added advantage.
AI least five (5) years post qualification experience at middle or-senior management level in a Local Authority environment.
Class 4 Driver’s Licence.
