Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:
Ensure the cleanliness of the Dining Halls at all times.
Report any damages to the Dining Hall facilities and equipment to the Catering Supervisors.
Accountable for the safekeeping, storage, handling proper use of cutlery, crockery, ICT
equipment and related utensils.
Resolve minor cases of student’s misconduct.
Scan students and issue meal tickets and provide meal attendance with statistics to the
Senior Cook for planning purposes.
Ensure only bonafide /registered students are allowed access to meals in Dining Halls
Monitor the quality and presentation of meals and making sure that meals are always on
the serves on time.
Increase customer satisfaction level indexes through service delivery
Ensure all customer feedback collection tools are being fully utilized
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the outlet Team Leader and Catering
Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Higher National Diploma (HEXCO) in Tourism and Hospitality Management or HND in
Hotel and Catering Management/Operations/ HND in Hospitality Management –AHLEI
or equivalent
2 A Level passes.
A minimum of 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics.
1 year relevant experience in the Catering and or Hospitality Industry
