Job Description
You’ll be responsible for recovering outstanding debts from individuals or businesses, which involves contacting debtors, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments.
- Locate debtors to inquire of their payment status.
- Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Handle queries and complaints.
- Create trust relationships with debtors when possible, to avoid future issues.
- Regular account and database updating.
- Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma Business Studies/Credit Management or any relevant field.
- Experience in the debt collection.
