A local faith based Non-Governmental Organization involved in development, advocacy and humanitarian
work seeks to fill the following vacant positions:
JOB TITLE: DATA MONITOR
Purpose of the position
The Data Monitor will be responsible for enumeration, data capturing, process, analysis and
maintaining of programs databases.
Responsibilities:
The data monitor will assist the Assist Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
Officer in:
• Beneficiary registration and data capturing process.
• Manage and update beneficiary database and project files.
• Generate monthly distribution lists and registers.
• Assist in training staff on data collection, management and cleaning.
• Generate diagrams that help interpret and analyse data.
• Generate database disaggregated by gender, age, area and intervention.
• Data cleaning
• Produce reports on a monthly basis.
• Supply information for proposal development.
• Conduct other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
Desired Qualifications, technical skills and experience
• Degree in Statics/Monitoring and evaluation/ Development studies
• A Masters Degree is an added advantage
• At lease 2 years working experience.
