Credit Controller – Harare
Location – Harare

The Credit Controller will be responsible for managing debtors and creditors to achieve consistently positive cash-flows and minimize levels of overdue debt and write offs. The ideal candidate will be anenergetic, analytical, with a distinct capability and passion to manage both account receivables and accounts payables.

ROLE PROFILE

• Debt Collection – follow ups, sending statements and attending to debtors’ queries.
• Reconciliations – Debtors and creditors balances, Sub ledger to Ledger balances
• Creditors Management – payments and posting of invoices
• Ageing – Debtors and creditors ageing for final reporting.
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Preparation and posting of Journals for accounts receivables, accounts payables and withholding taxes.
• Taxation – VAT reconciliations and returns including PAYE returns
• Filing – relevant debtors, creditors, VAT and any other documentation
• Any other duties as assigned
• Understand, adhere and implement the company SHEQ framework and ensure that all Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001), Environmental (ISO 14001), Quality (ISO 9001) policies, procedures, systems, rules and regulations are adhered to religiously.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE PROFILE

The incumbent should possess the following: –

• A degree in Accounting or a professional qualification such as ACCA/ CGI.
• At least three years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Palladium an added advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver excellent results.
• Drivers Licence is a must.
