Position: COSTING CLERK
The incumbent will have the following key responsibilities;
- Preparation of Actual Landed Cost for imports and local purchases.
- Maintain and update cost databases with accurate and relevant information to support pricing.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all costing activities
- Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses to support decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in cost reporting.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, finance) to gather relevant cost information.
- Provide support in cost-related queries and analyses.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably in the retail industry.
- Degree in Accounting or the equivalent.
- Must be inventive and resourceful.
- Strong presentation skills and relationship-building skills.
