CONTRACT AMBULANCE TECHNICIAN – GRADE 5(11 POST)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
Prepares and cleans the Ambulance.
Properly loads, secures the patient in an appropriate position.
Communicates with Call Centre via communication radio enroute to medical facility.
Convey patient to appropriate medical facility.
Prepares the ambulance for the next call and report availability.
Assumes the responsibility of Senior Ambulance Technician during his absence.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 “O” Level Subjects.
Ambulance Technician/ Emergency Medical Technician Certificate/ Paramedic.
Be registered with the Allied Health Practitioners’ Council.
Valid Class 2 drivers licence.
Valid Practising Certificate with Allied Health Practitioners’ Council.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS.
At least 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.
