Invitation for applications to conduct a Mid-Term Evaluation:

An International Non-Governmental Organisation (INGO) is looking for a consultant to
conduct an End of Term Evaluation on the project “Supporting Vulnerable People on the
Move and their Communities in Mwenezi and Beitbridge in Zimbabwe and in Musina in
South Africa”.

The INGO is looking for a consultant or at least a team of two who have a minimum of 5
years consulting experience for similar or related projects/programs. The lead evaluator
should have a Master’s degree in Citizenship, Migration and Refugee Protection, or
Development Studies, International Development/Relations, Human Rights, Sociology,
Peace building, Conflict transformation or equivalent as a minimum and a Post Graduate
or Bachelor’s qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation. The consultant(s) should
demonstrate a track record of doing similar work within the NGO sector and excellent
analytical and report writing skills. The consultant(s) should have experience in working
with IDPs, migrants and returnees and should have a firm understanding of national and
international policy frameworks on migration and displacement. Knowledge and
experience of working in rural, urban and peri-urban settings in Zimbabwe and South
Africa is highly desirable.
• Language Proficiency: Shona, Venda, Ndebele, and English.
