COMMUNICATION ENGINEER: ICT SECTION – GRADE 10 (1POST)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB SUMMARY
Administers and manages Private Branch Exchange (PBX) systems for the main switchboard and call centre.
Coordinates multiple service providers (Telone, Econet, PBX vendors) to resolve the system challenges.
Implements Communication Equipment policies.
Participates in the development of Mobile Apps for Council.
Designs and develops Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) systems.
Collaborates with vendors when streaming and conducting online meeting platforms (ZOOM, Google Meet).
Manages live streaming of Council events and other Council services.
Qualifications Requirements
A Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
A clean class 4 drivers’ licence.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 4 years experience in a similar work environment.
