Overall Purpose
Coordinates all the different sections of the operations department to ensure that they are cohesive and compliant to achieve the organisation’s objectives and thus enabling the Operations Manager to focus on strategic issues.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Maintains customer relations
2. Resolves and attends to customer complaints
3. Visits corporate clients
4. Manages costs
5. Manages cash flow through monitoring of the ZIMRA account
6. Monitors operational risk including debtors
7. Evaluates performance of the departments of the department and establishes effective processes
8. Supervises, motivates and trains staff
Academic Qualification
Minimum academic and professional qualification required for this job
• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Diploma in Customs Legislation and Procedures or equivalent
• Diploma in Shipping and Logistics or equivalent
• 4 years plus experience
